The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the branch by liaising with other branches and Head Office departments, and training and motivating their team of staff.

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Key holder
  • Accurately record daily time sheets and any other HR forms
  • Recruit, lead and motivate staff, equipping each member of the team with product and business knowledge so that all customers receive the highest level of customer service
  • Ensure the branch’s appearance is at a high standard including exterior, shop floor and stock areas
  • Ensure all stock transfers are arranged and completed smoothly
  • Ensure stock-checks are completed bi-annually
  • Settle all complaints in line with company guidelines
  • Uphold existing Health & Safety practices
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management

 

A successful applicant should have:

  • Experience in a retail management or supervisory position for a minimum of 12 months
  • Enthusiasm for developing product and wider business knowledge
  • A positive attitude to building relationships and leading a team by example
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using IT, including Microsoft Office
