Responsible for identifying potential leads, developing new relationships with schools and establishing new client partners for the business. To understand and identify potential new customers needs, to meet these needs and to try and generate extra sales for the business.
Primary ResponsibilitiesTo present the business to all potential new school partners in a professional manner- both remotely and in personTo identify and establish communication with suitable schools not supplied by the company and to develop this into new businessArrange and attend school meetings with potential new school partners, preparing and executing presentations fully informing new schools of the companies strengthsTo successfully integrate any confirmed new school partner within all areas of the business to ensure a successful partnership i.e. to update all departments on new supply contracts such as marketing, buying and supply branchTo review and report on previous years sales and suggest any improvements with new school partners to ensure successful partnerships are grownMaintain a successful communication channel throughout the initial 12 months with new clients, before handing over a successfully integrated school to the relevant account managerTo build detailed and professional responses to tender invitations received from existing and potentially new school partnersOffer new and forward thinking ideas, identify and suggest market trends, to develop upon these ideas therefore generating salesSupport schools i.e. Uniform Rules and Regulations, upkeep of uniform by providing services such as selling events to schoolsAttend conferences multiple times per year, to generate new business and keep constant contact with existing schoolsDeveloping products from design stage, through manufacturing process, to ensuring within branch at a certain date
