After winning 3 out of 4 of their last games, Abingdon School didn’t do so well in their last game of the season. It was a close battle with Bedford, who came out on top with a 15-21 win. This moved Abingdon into 26th spot at the end of the year.
Having had their 15th and 16th games cancelled, due to poor pitch conditions, Ashville College didn’t have much luck in their last few games either, losing 3 on the trot. That means a 98th place finish, just behind Dean Close School. Looks like they will need to rethink their tactics before the next season starts.
St Edward’s School, Oxford
St Edward’s School won their last two games which kept them sitting in 52nd place. This was helped by wins over Malvern School (20-8) and Pangbourne College (59-7). Like the other teams, they will be watching their games back to see how they can improve their positioning for next year’s league.
